Dr Kavitha garu joining at the parade , Saturday, August 15, 2026, along with our Indian Overseas Congress USA (IOC) team members

Thank you very much, Dr Kavitha garu, for joining us at the parade yesterday, Saturday, August 15, 2026, along with our Indian Overseas Congress USA (IOC) team members. We sincerely appreciate you taking the time to share valuable information about Patriji Meditation with our IOC team members at our stall. Thank you also for emphasizing the importance of practicing meditation regularly and explaining its many benefits for our physical, mental, and emotional well-being. Let us all make meditation a part of our daily routine and practice it consistently to experience greater peace, positivity, and overall well-being, and to lead healthier and more fulfilling lives. Thank you once again, Kavitha garu, for sharing your knowledge and inspiring our team. 🙏🧘‍♀️ What is Patriji meditation? It is primarily a simple, non-religious meditation practice centered on observing the breath. A common practice is: Sit comfortably with your back reasonably straight. Cross your feet Clasp your hands (fingers into fingers) Close your eyes. Relax your body. Focus your attention on your natural breathing. Observe the breath without trying to control it. When thoughts come, don’t fight them—gently bring your attention back to the breath. Continue for 15–30 minutes, or longer as you become comfortable. Patriji’s approach often emphasizes Anapanasati meditation, meaning mindfulness or awareness of breathing. It is presented as a practice for developing inner peace, awareness, and mental clarity. Thank you Sridhar Patel IOC (Indian Overseas Congress) President-Michigan Chapter, USA
